Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Reports Missing Teenager Found Safe

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is reporting this afternoon that a missing Tamassee teenager has been located safe in the state of Georgia and has been returned to her family, according to investigators.


The Sheriff’s Office issued a release on Thursday evening, August 12th and reported that 16 year old Ashlyn Bailey Miller had left her home earlier that afternoon. Ashlyn’s information had been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.


Since the time that she was reported missing, investigators have been following up on tips and leads in the search for Ashlyn.


The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public and our media partners for their assistance in our investigation and for the safe return of Ashlyn.
