Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Three Persons during Monday Afternoon Warrant Service

(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested three persons, two Seneca men and Bryson City, NC woman, during a Warrant Service that occurred Monday afternoon.

 

Yesterday afternoon, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office conducted a Warrant Service at an address on West-Oak Highway, near Old Grove Road and the Tokeena Crossroads community, in reference to the search for a wanted subject, 48 year old Sunny Ann Caudle of Shady Lane in Bryson City. 

 

After arriving on scene, Deputies made contact with 43 year old John Cody Duncan of the West-Oak Highway address.  After receiving consent from Duncan and another resident, 43 year old Jonathan Michael Davis, Deputies began a search of the residence.

 

Deputies discovered Caudle inside of the residence and she was taken into custody.  While inside of the residence, Deputies discovered a quantity of narcotics inside of the residence, along with drug paraphernalia.

 

A Narcotics Agent obtained a search warrant for the residence, where additional quantities of narcotics and firearms were discovered inside.

 

Based upon evidence obtained during the investigation, Caudle, Duncan and Davis were placed under arrest and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 3:22pm, 3:58pm and 4:08pm respectively.  At this time, Caudle, Duncan and Davis remain in jail pending a bond hearing.

 

Arrest warrants were obtained on Caudle on one count of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  A hold has been placed on Caudle by the Haywood County (NC) Sheriff’s Office. 

 

Davis has been charged with one count each of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime. 

 

Duncan has been charged with one count of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

 

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
