Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Subject Wanted for Property Crimes

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------A Westminster man, who was wanted on multiple property crimes charges, was arrested over the Labor Day weekend.


25 year old Kenneth Charles Goss was the subject of a Sheriff’s Office news release on August 23rd. Goss was wanted on eight arrest warrants related to four separate property crimes investigations.


Goss was arrested early Monday morning by deputies, who received assistance from the Westminster Police Department. Goss was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 5:05am yesterday and remains in custody on a combined $300,000 surety bond.


Goss was wanted on two counts each of Grand Larceny, Breaking into a Motor Vehicle and Petit Larceny. Goss is also wanted on one count each of First Degree Burglary and Second Degree Burglary.


Additionally, Goss has also been charged with one count of Grand Larceny in relation to a fifth property crime that occurred in the Mountain Rest area on August 26th. In that crime, Goss is accused of stealing a silver 2004 Pontiac Grand Am from a property located on Homeland Drive.


A hold has been placed on Goss by the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office and Goss will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device, as a condition of bond, should he be released.


The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
