Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Man on Kidnapping and Domestic Violence Charges

(Walhalla, SC)————————————–A Seneca man remains in jail today after his bond was denied on charges of Kidnapping and Domestic Violence – High and Aggravated related to a domestic incident.


36 year old Antonio Reyes, of S. Oak Street, will appear before a Circuit Court Judge, at a later time, regarding his bond. Reyes was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 8:48am Sunday after his arrest.


Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to an address on Beverly Drive near Seneca late Saturday evening in relation to a 911 hang up related to a possible domestic disturbance. Deputies made contact with Reyes and the female victim and continued the investigation.


Paramedics responded to the scene at the request of the victim. Deputies observed a physical manifestation of injuries on the victim. Reyes was placed under arrest by deputies.


According to arrest warrants, Reyes is charged with tying up the victim with a cell phone charger and preventing her from leaving the scene. Reyes is also charged with assaulting the victim as well.
