(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Bureau arrested a Seneca man, without incident, yesterday on outstanding arrest warrants charging him with Kidnapping and Domestic Violence.

20 year old Dominick Vincent Falsitta was taken into custody at his home residence on Bellview Way in Seneca and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 10:09pm Wednesday.

At this time, Falsitta remains in jail as his bond on both charges was denied, by a judge, during his bond hearing.

The Sheriff’s Office investigation began on Tuesday afternoon of this week. The victim stated to a deputy from the Uniform Patrol Bureau that she was assaulted by Falsitta at a location on Highlands Highway after an argument began. The victim attempted to walk away; however, Falsitta forced the victim into his vehicle and continued to assault her.

After stopping the vehicle, the victim got out. However, Falsitta continued to assault the victim and tried to force the victim back into the vehicle. After being confronted by a third party, Falsitta drove away and 911 was called.

During the course of the investigation, the deputy observed a physical manifestation of injuries on the victim’s person.

Due to the nature of the charges filed, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing the name of the victim nor the third party in relation to the incident.
