Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Oconee County Woman on First Degree Burglary Charges

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------An investigation into a burglary and larceny that occurred in the Seneca area on August 24th has led to the arrest of an Oconee County woman on multiple outstanding arrest warrants.


45 year old Crystal Graham Bernard was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 9:57am Monday. At this time, Bernard remains in custody on a combined $44,250.00 surety bond. Bernard was also served an arrest warrant for a Probation Violation.


Arrest warrants were obtained against Bernard on charges of First Degree Burglary, Petit Larceny and Malicious Injury to Personal Property in relation to a burglary call at an address on Edgewood Drive. According to the arrest warrants, Bernard is accused on entering the home during the nighttime hours, of stealing a cell phone, phone charger and watch and of cutting wiring to a security camera.


Bernard is the second subject arrested in the investigation. Back on September 8th, 37 year old Dennis Andrew Dobson was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on an unrelated charge, according to Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division. While in custody at the Detention Center, Dobson was also served arrest warrants on charges of First Degree Burglary, Petit Larceny and Malicious Injury to Personal Property in relation to the same investigation.


At this time, Dobson remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $39,410.00 surety bond. Dobson will have to wear an electronic monitoring device, as a condition of bond, should he be released.
