(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing tonight that a missing Walhalla teenager has been located in the southern part of Oconee County.
The Sheriff’s Office issued two releases to our media partners, our citizens and the public in regards to locating 13 year old Ariel Ray Underwood. Ariel was reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office Wednesday morning.
Ariel was located at a business on Highway 11 near I-85 near Fair Play this evening. Deputies were dispatched to the business location after dispatch received a call around 7:15pm indicating that Ariel, and 15 year old Bryson Joe Perry, was possibly at the business location.
Ariel has been transported to the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla by deputies around 8:31pm this evening, where she was to be turned over to a legal guardian.
According to deputies, Bryson Joe Perry fled on foot and the Westminster Police Department, who listed Bryson as missing in the National Crimes Information Center database, has been notified.
