Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Additional Arrests in Second Drug Round-Up of 2024

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today additional arrests in the second drug round-up of 2024.  The Sheriff’s Office began the operation with a meeting and briefing at 8:30am last Thursday morning.

 

    The Sheriff’s Office obtained 44 arrest warrants on 31 persons.  The arrest warrants were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office.  Among the narcotics purchased during the controlled buys were Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Morphine and Prescription Medication.  Two additional arrest warrants were obtained late last week against a wanted person for additional narcotics found on his person during his arrest.  At this time, the total number of arrest warrants obtained during the operation is 46.    

 

     As of 2:30pm today, 20 persons had been arrested so far and/or were already in jail and will or have been served their warrants in direct relation to the drug round-up.  2 additional persons were arrested late last week on unrelated charges during the search for those persons who were wanted in relation to the round-up.  Here are the names of the latest wanted persons arrested: 

 

· Jonathan Andrew Ivester

33 years old

Deer Creek Estates Road, Walhalla, SC

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count

Ivester was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 12:07pm on Saturday, December 7th.  Ivester was released from jail on Sunday, December 8th on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.


· Christopher Robert Craig

55 years old

Alberts Road, Seneca, SC/Doubloon Street, West Union

Distribution in Methamphetamine – 1 count

Craig was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 1:28pm on Saturday, December 7th.  At this time, Craig remains in jail on a $25,000 surety bond.  Craig was also served a Magistrate Bench Warrant and was sentenced to 30 days in jail on that warrant.

 

· Tomasa Hernandez Ortiz

49 years old

Marvs Drive – Walhalla, SC

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 3 counts

Hernandez-Ortiz was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 7:34am on Sunday, December 8th.  At this time, Hernandez-Ortiz remains in jail on a combined $30,000 surety bond.

 

· Kimberly Amanda Bohannon

36 years old

Gail Court/Creek Drive, Seneca, SC

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 2 counts

Bohannon was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 9:49pm on Sunday, December 8th.  At this time, Bohannon remains in jail on a combined $100,000 surety bond.  Bohannon will have to wear an electronic monitoring device, as a condition of bond, should she be released from jail. 

 

· Robert Lewis Schoenfeld, Jr.   

47 years old

Brown Farm Road, Seneca, SC

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count

Schoenfeld, Jr. was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 10:47am on Monday, December 9th.  At this time, Schoenfeld, Jr. remains in jail pending a bond hearing. 


· Calvin Eugene Holland

57 years old

Washington Street, Seneca, SC  

Distribution of Cocaine – 1 count

Holland was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 1:25pm on Monday, December 9th.  Holland was also served with an outstanding General Sessions Bench Warrant.  At this time, Holland remains in jail pending a bond hearing. 

 

· Jessie Lee Blackwell

36 years old

Eva Frank Lane, Westminster, SC

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count

Blackwell was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 2:12pm on Monday, December 9th.  At this time, Blackwell remains in jail pending a bond hearing.

 

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating the remainder of those who are wanted in our ongoing round-up.  Anyone with any information can leave a tip with Crimestoppers online at www.71crime.com or by calling 1-844-71-CRIME.  You don’t have to give your name when you contact Crimestoppers and all information provided is confidential.  If your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.  The names of the remaining suspects are as follows:

· Crystal Renee Bryson (Sherman)

52 years old

Popham Drive, Walhalla, SC

Distribution of Fentanyl – 2 counts

 

· Anthony Bradley Parker

50 years old

Yellow Bell Road, Walhalla, SC

Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count 

 

· Brian Keith Wilder, Jr.
