(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today an additional arrest in the first drug round-up of 2023.
The Sheriff’s Office began the operation with a meeting and briefing at 8:30am, on Tuesday, February 7th, at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla.
The Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants on 22 subjects. The arrest warrants were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office. Among the narcotics purchased during the controlled buys were Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Fentanyl, Heroin, Marijuana, Methamphetamine, and Prescription Medication.
As of Noon today, 20 subjects had been arrested so far and/or were already in jail and will or have been served their warrants. Here is the name of the additional subject arrested:

34 years old
Seneca, SC
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 1 count
Bugg was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Tuesday, April 25th at around 10:17pm.
Bugg was also served a Magistrates Bench Warrant at the Detention Center.
At this time, Bugg remains in jail pending a bond hearing.
