On Wednesday, November 15, Knights from Council 6884 in Seneca delivered 6 boxes of warm coats to the Oconee County Sheriff's Department for distribution to needy youth in Oconee County. Each of these boxes contain 12 coats in different styles for boys and girls and different sizes (teenager, youth and child). This is part of a national program sponsored by the Knights of Columbus that takes place each Fall as the weather becomes colder. The Knights enjoy partnering with our Sheriff's Department to get the coats distributed where they are most needed. In a similar fashion Council 6884 provides 6 boxes of coats to Family Promise for distribution in Pickens County.
